H.E.R. Links Up With Foo Fighters For “The Glass”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

H.E.R. can literally do no wrong.

We could use more H.E.R. songs in our lives. Her voice, paired with meaningful lyrics, provides a refreshing listening experience. However, this year, H.E.R. has been relatively quiet, releasing only two singles so far: “The Journey” and “Lonely At Top.” On Friday, a collaboration between the Vallejo singer and the Foo Fighters, titled “The Glass,” was released on streaming services.

The iconic Foo Fighters released an album titled Here We Are yesterday, featuring a standout track called “The Glass.” This song stands out notably due to the captivating vocals of H.E.R. and a poignant instrumental that seamlessly complements her heartfelt lyrics. While it might not be the best fit for a trap house playlist, it’s the kind of material that could easily secure a victory on a platform like American Idol.

Let us know what you think about Foo Fighters and H.E.R.’s “The Glass.”
