This track will be on the “Good Burger 2” soundtrack.
When Snoop Dogg played a prank on the world, claiming he was quitting smoking, I thought to myself that Wiz Khalifa had officially taken the mantle as the chief advocate of cannabis in the hip-hop scene. Fortunately, Snoop’s announcement turned out to be a joke, relieving us of that concern. Moving on, what’s remarkable about Wiz is his ability to embrace a stoner persona while maintaining a kid-friendly image. That being said, he has released a new single today titled “No Fair,” which caters to a family-friendly audience.
“No Fair” boasts an interesting sound, driven by uptempo, zany, and colorful production from both Lex Luger and Chad Hugo. Vocally, Wiz Khalifa channels the male version of Pepper Ann, bouncing off walls and exuding a completely free-spirited vibe. Although you might have a preference for hearing the Pittsburgh rapper spit bars (which he does a little in the song), it’s evident that this track is geared toward a younger audience.
I actually watched Good Burger in the theatre when I was like 9.
