Justin Timberlake would’ve made a track like “3D” a few years back, so it makes perfect sense that he’s on the remix to the song.
Jung Kook has emerged as one of the most prominent artists in the world. This achievement is significant because transitioning from being part of a group to becoming a solo artist isn’t always easy. One individual who successfully navigated this transition is Justin Timberlake. Since departing from N’Sync, Timberlake has released several platinum albums and has graced prestigious stages, including the Super Bowl. Appropriately, he contributed to a remix of Jung Kook’s hit “3D.”
“3D” is powered by a beat that gives me The Neptunes vibes, which I’m sure sparked Justin’s interest (Justin has been working with The Neptunes for years now). Consequently, he truly excels in this remix. In his singular verse, he employs a remarkably smooth singing style to articulate how he can make his lover feel extra special, including offering luxurious cars, private planes, and more. Justin definitely sounds like he’s only lost a step or two, not like four or five steps.
The names of every prominent pop star seem to share a common trend, kicking off with the letters J and U: Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Jung Kook, and so on.
