Playboi Carti Returns With “UR THE MOON”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Playboi Carti is back and weirder than ever!

One can argue that Playboi Carti is the most polarizing figure in hip-hop right now. Yes, people care about Drake, Travis Scott, and Kanye West, but I legit think that there are some jits in the world that are prepared to die for Carti. Unfortunately, it’s been a few years since the Atlanta legend released an album for us. That will change soon, as it was announced a few days ago that he will be dropping a new album called I Am Music next year. Today, what might be the first single off the forthcoming project hit streaming services: “UR THE MOON.”

My n***a, I like this s**t a lot! I f**k with the dark, uptempo, out-of-this-worldly beat and how Playboi Carti relies on altered vocals and choppy flows to attack it. I also like how he talks a little bit of s**t, speaks on his impressive come-up, and gives sound advice on how to upgrade a chick. If you ask me (Bro, someone in the corner definitely asked me), this is the perfect bizarre return for hip-hop’s trippy Batman.

Playboi Carti probably made the video below with an iPhone 9.
