My favorite trap preacher looks to make “HIStory” with his latest album.

TOP 5
5. Big Ole (Ft. YFN Fat)
This song’s hook and touching trap beat are the only reason I think it deserves a spot on this list. Everything else is uncivilized.
I f**king love it when hooks that are catchy and motivational get stuck in my head.
4. HIStory
I truly believe YFN Lucci’s best rap performance is featured in “HIStory.”
“HIStory” may not have any groundbreaking elements, but it showcases raw bars from YFN Lucci. He reflects on the enemies he’s defeated, the friends he’s lost, and the legal and illegal money he’s accumulated over the years. YFN Lucci also expresses his readiness for smoke and acknowledges his success. While he still sounds like he’s crying a little (Like he always does), his raps do get spewed out very confidently.
3. Shake Summ (Ft. City Girls & Yo Gotti)
If you’re a fan of ratchet music, “Shake Summ” is right up your alley!
“Shake Summ” boasts an uptempo, booming club beat that would make women with asses and assless women shake it. As for City Girls, they deliver a catchy and ratchet hook, while YFN Lucci and Yo Gotti provide tough-ass verses expressing their admiration for affordable and freaky women (Where can one find such women?). I just like this song’s energy and how feverishly it flows.
I’m trying to hear this song at the strip club section of the Las Vegas Raiders arena.
2. Date Night
Who knew YFN Lucci is a bigger player than Zion?
Here’s the following things I appreciate about this song: YFN Lucci’s carefree singing style, his nonchalant lyrics about doing some reckless s**t with/to his girlfriend, and the smooth ass beat. In my opinion, this is the bag YFN Lucci should dig into more.
1. 7.62
In “7.62,” YFN Lucci plays zero games (Do you like what I did there?).
“7.62” is driven by a soulful yet hard-hitting beat that would sneakily f**k your speakers up. YFN delivers bars focused on flaunting, hustling, and dealing with opps over this impactful beat.
While YFN adopts a slightly melodic tone in “7.62,” he predominantly delivers his bars with aggression on the track. By the way, did I mention that I love it when YFN sounds both melodic and aggressive in his music?
I have no clue what “7.62” means, but if I were to guess, the numbers have something to do with guns and government cheese.

OVERALL RATING
(C)
YFN Lucci embodies the essence of a real-ass artist. While he may not deliver mind-blowing singing or rapping performances, he pours his heart into his songs. In HIStory, YFN doesn’t necessarily excel in the hooks or choruses, nor does he present standout bars. Instead, he skillfully combines emotional trap beats with bars that resonate with those who appreciate realness. Isn’t that sufficient to pique your interest in the album?
