Maxo Kream & Evilgiane Unite For “Bang The Bus”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

There are numerous underappreciated Texas rappers floating around, including That Mexican OT, Sauce Walka, Teezo Touchdown, and my personal favorite, Maxo Kream. Though chopped-and-screwed music is something the state (particularly Houston) is famous for, I do think a lot of their artists are pretty adaptable. That said, on Friday, Maxo Kream returned to the music scene with “Bang The Bus,” a song that has him stepping way outside of the box.

True to its title, “Bang The Bus” is as provocative as it sounds. In this track, Maxo Kream explicitly expresses his willingness to engage in intimate encounters anywhere and anyhow. For instance, he narrates experiences of being involved with women who aren’t exclusively his, even in buses crowded with others seeking similar encounters. Quite daring, right?

“Bang The Bus” is driven by a dreamy beat with a compelling tempo (kudos to Evilgiane for the production). I appreciate how Maxo delivers his verses with a cold and nonchalant demeanor over it, only pausing to assert his name and catch his breath. Overall, the song’s style is well-suited for clubs that cater to those unafraid to break a sweat.

Maxo Kream just made the first porno song of the year.
