Waqqas & Azjah Do Some Comforting In “Guard Up”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Waqqas is a recording artist from LA and IE with South Asian roots, and one notable aspect of his music is his dedication to honoring his multicultural background, setting him apart as a unique and refreshing artist. Azjah, on the other hand, is a singer from Compton, California, known for crafting strong, relatable, passionate music. In their collaboration on “Guard Up,” the two musicians exhibit excellent chemistry.

In “Guard Up,” Waqqas and Azjah emphasize the significance of patience and everlasting learning in a romantic relationship, especially when dealing with someone who has experienced past emotional pain.

One of the notable aspects I appreciate about this track is its mellow atmosphere. “Guard Up” showcases smooth vocals from both Waqqas and Azjah, accompanied by a gentle beat with a pleasing tempo and a subtle rhythmic quality. While Waqqas delivers a few aggressive bars here and there for fans of his rap side, I must admit that I particularly enjoy the melodies he explores in this track.

Give the very charming “Guard Up” with Waqqas and Azjah a shot below.
