Logic Shows Zero “Fear” In Latest Single

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Since Logic’s retirement a few years ago, it seems he hasn’t fully regained the momentum he once had. There was a time when the Maryland rapper was recognized as an A-lister, collaborating with some of the hottest names in the industry. Recently, I haven’t sensed the same level of passion from him. Interestingly, to kick off 2024, Logic has chosen to venture into experimental territory.

In “Fear,” Logic emphasizes the significance of embracing freedom and disregarding negative opinions from detractors. Additionally, he takes a reflective stance on his earlier days when he and his friends were engaged in risky behavior.

If you’re accustomed to hearing Logic deliver aggressive and intense verses, you might consider skipping this song. Instead, he employs a combination of b-boy-inspired rap and smooth vocals to convey his messages. The song’s dynamic nature is accentuated by the energetic production in the first part and the slow-burning, smooth production in the second part.

Give “Fear” a shot below.
