YFN Lucci, who has been incarcerated for the past few years, was initially facing a 20-year sentence, with ten of the years to be spent in prison. However, there was an update, and now he is set to spend three and a half months in jail, completing the rest of his term on probation. This is seen as a significant victory for the Atlanta native, and, perhaps, in celebration, he made a comeback to the music scene with an emotional new single titled “Free Me.”
In “Free Me,” YFN Lucci appeals for salvation from the challenges and struggles he has faced over the years. He also addresses the hatred directed towards him, reflects on witnessing others abandon their dreams, and shares his aspirations for living a peaceful life.
As expected, “Free Me” delivers an emotional punch. YFN Lucci channels his signature passionate and melodic rap style over a poignant trap beat, creating a powerful synergy. Adding to the song’s emotional depth are the soulful contributions from featured singers Adrienne Jamece Woods, Kanisha Kionna McSwain and Natasha Renee Williams.
YFN Lucci has been doing his time like a G. I haven’t heard any drama concerning his case.
