Los Angeles, CA-based musical creative Vudajé, also known as Mitch Luján, is a singer-songwriter. During his childhood, he was exposed to various Motown and R&B artists, heavily influencing his singing style and approach to production. After absorbing an eclectic array of sounds, he dedicated his initial years as a musician to San Jose, CA’s indie-rock scene in the 2010s. More recently, Vudajé teamed up with San Jose, CA-based rapper and voice, film, and theater actor Activepoet, also known as Davied Morales. Together, they created the alternative R&B single “Never Too Late” and its accompanying official video.
With a warm blend of funky beats and evocative instrumentals, “Never Too Late” provides the perfect feel-good backdrop to beautifully complement the tune’s emotional exploration. Lyrics like “I tell myself that I’m deserving, Write it down in my journal, With the intentions and feelings I get, of course I’m certain” and “But when money gets low, unstable tables always turning, You can’t blame me for losing faith that what I’m doing’s working” offer up a thought-provoking reflection about pushing through tough times and trying to hold onto the positive things even when it’s difficult. Fueled by its vibrant vocals and motivational message, Vudajé & Activepoet gift us an empowering genre fusion tune that reminds us we’re never alone. So press play and let the words of “Never Too Late” help inspire your unique journey.
