Lil Tjay Says He’s Living A “Good Life”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

I think Lil Tjay can end up being this generation’s Tupac. Both artists have faced adversity, including being shot, and have used their experiences to create thought-provoking and deeply personal music. While Tjay may not have reached the same level of influence and success as Tupac yet, he’s still young with plenty of potential ahead of him. His return to the music scene with the new single “Good Life” demonstrates his ongoing growth and artistic development.

In “Good Life,” Lil Tjay confirms that he’s focused on getting money; anything else that gets in his way is going to get toasted like some bread. Unlike some of his recent releases, Tjay’s lyrics in this song feel more like a celebration of his impressive come-up and formidable mindset these days.

“Good Life” presents a conflicting mix of emotions for listeners. While Tjay’s vocals lean towards the overly emotional side, the beat exudes a sunny yet touching energy that brings a sense of upliftment. All in all, this is a track that evokes both sadness and happiness simultaneously.

Lil Tjay is starting to look like John Wall.
