Zafty Spits Strong Bars In “John Doe”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Age ain’t nothing but a number. Do you know why I say that? Because Zafty is only 17 years old, yet he raps just as good as your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper. What I find hella impressive about this Perth, Australia-based, Nigerian-born artist is that he has dabbled with just about every type of genre, from drill to house to trap to even pop. His latest single, however, is on some traditional rap s**t.

“John Doe” serves as the perfect introduction to Zafty, showcasing his competitive spirit, ambitious dreams, and undeniable rap prowess. Throughout the track, he confidently asserts himself as a black king, determined to assert his dominance and surpass his peers in the rap game.

“John Doe” captivates with its soulful, hard-hitting beat that tries to dictate Zafty’s mood throughout the song. However, Zafty’s relentless delivery fills the track, giving it an energizing quality that feels like he’s carrying multiple chips on his shoulder. It’s invigorating to listen to.

Zafty’s future is brighter than the neighborhood lights.
