Trippie Redd Releases “LWRW”

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Do you know what was random as hell to me? Trippie Redd and Meek Mill’s brief beef. I still don’t know what that s**t was about. Anywho, Trippie has really fed his fans well these past two years. In 2023, Trippie Redd made a splash by dropping not one, not two, but three projects: Saint Michael V2, A Love Letter To You 5, and MANSION MUSIK. Keeping up the momentum, he teased fans with the announcement of a sequel to his LIFE’s A TRIP project via Twitter, although the tweet has since been deleted. Today, fans got a taste of what’s to come with the release of what could be the first single from the upcoming project: “LWRW.”

In “LWRW,” Trippie Redd throws conventional norms out the window. Despite the gentle piano-driven beat, he talks about a whirlwind of topics, from his chopper to his romantic escapades to luxurious trips to Dubai. With a mix of high-pitched vocals and Grinch-like tones, it’s a wild ride. While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, there’s no denying the infectiousness of the hook he lays down.

Yo, I think I’ve cracked the Trippie Redd code! He sings his ass off when crafting albums like Love Letter To You. But when it’s time for projects like LIFE’S A TRIP, he unleashes crazy-ass tracks like “LWRW.” I’m hip.
