Lil Nas X is gearing up to drop his latest mixtape, NASARATI 2, and I couldn’t be more thrilled about it. There are several reasons why I’m eagerly anticipating this release. For one, Lil Nas X has proven himself to be an incredibly fearless artist, so I’m expecting a wide range of musical styles on the mixtape. Additionally, now that he’s reached A-list status in the music industry, I’m curious to see how his content has evolved. Today, X made his return to the music scene with the release of a new single titled “Right There.” He sounds brand new on it.

Lil Nas X talks his s**t early and often in “Right There.” Throughout the song, he brags about the hits he has made, all the money he has garnered, and how much he’s exceeded expectations. He also talks about partying hard, popping pills and drinking Henny like he has 24 hours to live.

In my opinion, the best thing about “Right There” is the production. Ojivolta hooked Lil Nas X up with a booming beat with this shouting sample I love. Don’t sleep on X’s contributions, though. They are bold and catchy as hell. X also does a good job of switching his flow a few times, keeping us on the edge of our seats.
