One of the craziest beefs of all time has just gotten crazier. After enduring disses (in the form of music and unfollows) from Kendrick Lamar, Future, Rick Ross, A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, NAV, and Metro Boomin, Drake has decided to fire back with a brand new diss track. I don’t know the name of it, but if I were to guess, it’s called “F**k the Industry 5.”
Most people think this s**t is AI, but I 100% believe it’s real. The s**t completely sounds like Drake. That said, in the song, Drake fires more shots than prime Westbrook. Kendrick Lamar gets most of the shots in this track. Drake calls him small multiple times and brings up Top Dawg’s control over him over and over again. Drizzy also says Kendrick’s last album, Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers, is wack, puts Travis Scott, SZA, and 21 Savage over him in the rap standings, and references the LA rapper’s Prince/Michael Jackson comment from “LIKE THAT.”
Metro Boomin gets an extremely quick shot in this track. Drake essentially tells him to “shut his ass up and stick to drumming.” As for The Weeknd and Rick Ross, Drake references the former trickin’ on men and the latter having beef with him for no reason and receiving many hits from him.
Interestingly, J. Cole gets a stray in this track (What’s up with Cole getting strays?). Drake calls his apology to Kendrick “weak.”
Lastly, Drake confirms that he and Kendrick Lamar have been beefing for some time now and says that he knows that he has had a diss record towards him ready to go for four years now. Drake also says he’s ready to take on everyone teaming up to go against him. S**t, did I miss anything? Well, I guess I can talk about the production and rapping style used, right? All I gotta say is both are meaner than Kim Mulkey.
This was a veryyyyyyyy good response from Drake.
