Logic Drops “44ever”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

With so much talk about big 3s in hip-hop, it sucks that Logic’s name doesn’t get brought up. From a technical standpoint, I think he can go toe to toe with just about any rapper in the game. Where I think people have issues with him is in his content. In a good chunk of his songs, he talks about his mental health and how a rapper’s lifestyle isn’t always fun to live. If you ask me, I’m not trying to hear him preach to me; I just want to hear bars. In “44ever,” you get bars!

For fans invested in Logic’s “44” series, the journey continues with another compelling addition. In his latest track, “44ever,” the Gaithersburg rapper delivers fierce bars over an intense, uptempo beat. With competitive zeal, Logic draws comparisons to Kendrick Lamar, boldly claiming his own status as a game-changer and dismissing his competitors. However, what truly stands out is the feverish, rapid-fire flow that Logic employs throughout the song.
