Chris Brown Takes Shots At Quavo In “Weakest Link”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I don’t think Kendrick Lamar and Drake hate each other. I believe they are having fun being competitive with one another. Two people that I think genuinely hate each other are Quavo and Chris Brown. Even though their beef might have started because of something petty, it seems to have escalated to the point where I truly believe they will come to blows if they see one another. Today, Chris decided to drop a vicious new diss record aimed at Quavo called “Weakest Link.”

In “Weakest Link,” Chris Brown goes ham, cheese, and whatever condiment you want to add to that sandwich on Quavo. Specifically, he calls him the weakest member of Migos, says he smashed his ex-girlfriend (Maybe Saweetie?), and refers to him as a wife-beater. Chris also says people wished that Quavo had passed over Takeoff. Yep, this s**t gets pretty ugly.

I know you don’t care about how the song sounds, but I’ll explain it briefly. In “Weakest Link,” you’re greeted with a dark trap beat, seemingly reminiscent of Nardo Wick’s “Who Want Smoke” beat. Over it, Chris opts for fiery raps instead of his usual singing, sounding genuinely pissed off.

Chris Brown has dropped more diss records in the past month than Kendrick Lamar. What has happened to the game I love?
