Coco Jones Says “Here We Go (Uh Oh)”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Coco Jones possesses one of the top five voices in the current female R&B scene. Her voice is powerful, reminiscent of vintage sounds, and has the ability to stir emotions deep within your soul. Paired with her incredible voice are meticulously crafted tunes. We last heard Coco in the remix to “ICU” with Justin Timberlake. Her latest release is the wonderful “Here We Go (Uh Oh).”

How do I know “Here We Go (Uh Oh)” is a guaranteed hit? Well, this past weekend, while I was on vacation in Charlotte, indulging in some soul food, I heard the track on the radio and mistook it for something released three years ago. That’s a sure sign of a great song. So, what makes it so good? For starters, it’s incredibly juicy. In the track, Coco Jones addresses someone who got jealous because she moved on to someone else. Additionally, her vocal performance is powerful enough to move mountains in Arizona, and it features a legendary sample from Twista’s “Overnight Celebrity” megahit. I’m confident that DC will embrace this track, and I’m sure other areas will, too.

Coco Jones has amazing skin; she must have access to luxury cocoa butter.
