I always thought it was bulls**t when people said there aren’t similarities between UK and US hip-hop. In my opinion, artists from both countries can rap their asses off and talk about very similar s**t. The only difference comes in their accents and what they carry (UK people still can’t carry guns, right?). Someone I find very relatable is Alexandros Sarafis. In his music, the bilingual (Greek and English) rapper does a good job of dropping tracks with meaningful and inspirational lyrics.
