Saweetie Says Her “NANi” Is Unstoppable

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

I wonder what NANi is short for…

Will this be the year Saweetie finally drops a full-length studio album? B*tch, it might be. In all seriousness, the Bay Area native has kept us entertained with explosive singles and McDonald’s meals, but now it’s time for her to showcase her full potential with an album longer than nine tracks. While there’s no new information about a release date, Saweetie has just dropped her highly anticipated new single titled “NANi.”

In “NANi,” Saweetie confidently celebrates herself, highlighting her achievements, physical attributes, and lavish lifestyle. She also boasts about her financial success and extravagant partying. It’s hella clear that she’s loving life more than ever now.

The most interesting thing about “NANi” is how the track sounds. In it, you get your typical aggressive Saweetie raps, but also a very intoxicating and gentle hook that I think layers on top of the colorful, old-school-sounding beat (The beat actually sounds like some s**t from the late 2000s). I really believe this track showcases Saweetie’s versatility, which I actually didn’t know she had.

Check out “NANI” below.
