Belly Calls Out Government Officials In “Patience Vs. Patients”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Belly has had enough of the destruction.

I think Belly is a fantastic rapper. His ability to craft vibrant punchlines and intricate wordplay is undeniably impressive. However, what truly sets him apart is his commitment to addressing significant global issues through his music.

In his newest single, “Patience vs. Patients,” the Palestinian artist confronts all parties entangled in the conflict between Israel and Palestine.

“Drones, helicopters, killing our doctors
Turned the hospital to a hospice
While you watched it
Then you wonder why we’re losing”

In “Patience vs. Patients,” Belly calls out prominent individuals who did nothing about Israel’s bombings of hospitals in Palestine. He also criticizes those who distort the truth about the situation and anyone who portrays his side as the villains.

Though it may seem irrelevant, I believe this track is masterfully crafted. It features hard-hitting, dramatic production that will undoubtedly strike a chord with listeners, complemented by deep bars from Belly delivered with a calmness that is, quite frankly, sad—you can’t help but feel numb when confronted with such horrific realities. Despite its brevity, this track is exceptionally effective.
