JONES may have the love jones.

Cherie Jones-Mattis, an artist from London who goes by the name JONES, seems to have innate talent. As a music fan, the first thing you might say upon hearing her voice is that “she was born to sing.” While her natural talent is undeniable, her journey to success has been marked by dedication and hard work. Inspired by legendary artists such as Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, JONES uses her music to capture the essence of the “human experience.” Isn’t that deep?

Recently, JONES released an EP called Kaleidoscope. Though it only has five tracks, it leaves a lasting impression with its high quality. One of the standout highlights from the project is the title track, “Kaleidoscope.” This song perfectly encapsulates the vibrant, uplifting energy that defines the EP.

In “Kaleidoscope,” JONES basks in a love that feels good in every single way. She mentions how this person is able to make her forget the terrors of her world and bring color to her life. Throughout the track, her elation is palpable, which adds to the song’s charm.

I just love how “Kaleidoscope” made my Tuesday feel. The song boasts a feel-good, uptempo dance-pop beat that will make you want to boogie all night long. JONES displays her impressive singing skills by delivering non-stop dreamy and high-pitched vocals throughout the entire track. Do you know how hard it is to maintain that level of vocal performance for a whole song? JONES makes it sound effortless, though.
