Fred Again.. Calls On Anderson .Paak & Chika For “places to be”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Well I’ll be damned, Fred Again.. did it again…

Fred again.. might look like one of those classmates you’d copy answers from during tests, but his appearance has no bearing on his success as an artist. A quick glance at his catalog reveals numerous tracks with over 100 million views, showcasing his impressive reach and popularity.

While much of Fred again..’s work has been with indie pop artists, he has also collaborated with hip-hop artists. Earlier this year, he released a track with Lil Yachty called “stayinit.” It seems Fred again.. is keen to continue exploring the hip-hop world, as today he dropped a new single with Anderson .Paak and Chika titled “Places To Be.”

Will this be today’s most popular release? Probably not. However, I do think it will be the most unique. “places to be” has this frantic tempo that gives me “Millionaire” by Kelis and Andre 3000 vibes. While Chika delivers this robotic, Black Mirror-like performance throughout the track, it’s Anderson Paak who gifts us with a punchy, extra forceful performance that really puts everything together. All in all, this track is hella fun to listen to.

Is there a such thing as a happy seizure?
