Last week, we got a remix to GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion’s phenomenal hit “Wanna Be.” My initial thought when I heard it was that they are a trio that I can see whipping ass. Today, another important female rap remix hit streaming services: “Sunday Service” with Latto, Flo Milli, and Megan Thee Stallion. I might just like this trio even better.
In “Sunday Service (Remix),” we get playoff-level s**t-talking from Latto and friends. Particularly, they egg on their weak-ass competition, talk about stealing men, and even threaten violence on folks. Sidenote: I always find it funny when women talk about shooting other women. Like, why would a beef between two women come to that?
I think it’s extremely dope how Flo Milli and Megan Thee Stallion channel their inner Latto in this track. They reuse her flow, rap with similar cockiness, and share similar sentiments. My favorite verse is Flo Milli’s, but I think they all killed s**t.
It’s 22 v 1 for Nicki Minaj.
