Blueface, DDG & Swae Lee Team Up For “Top”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Ayo, pause on that title.

No matter how much you think DDG is a struggling rapper, you have to appreciate his dedication to consistently feeding his fans new music. Since around 2023, the Pontiac rapper has had his foot on the gas, delivering everything from singles to albums.

Yesterday, DDG returned to the music scene with a track from his vault: “Top,” featuring Blueface and Swae Lee.

More Fire: DDG Says He’s “Going To The Top”

“Top” has some highs and lows. I really vibe with the booming, slick trap beat that drives the song and Swae Lee’s sly contributions. Even Blueface’s melodic raps are solid. Surprisingly, the weak link is DDG; his rap verse feels rushed and off. Nonetheless, if you’re looking for a track that gives advice on how to be a playa who treats women like side dishes at a restaurant, give this one a shot.

Blueface and DDG are like prime Trae Young and Dejounte Murray when it comes to collaborations.
