3. BACK IT UP

Maeesha B shines in this fun Jersey club anthem.

I love songs with Jersey Club vibes, especially when they’re paired with smooth vocals and infectious melodies. “BACK IT UP” delivers just that. With its feverish tempo, the track is fun to listen to, and Maeesha’s catchy hook and beautifully confrontational lyrics stand out. On any given day, this is the track you’ll likely return to most from this project.

2. CALL ME

1800-Maesha-B?

In “CALL ME,” Maeesha B expresses that she’s someone you can count on for company and support.

“CALL ME” is a total mood. The track is powered by this soothing R&B beat that I think is perfect for a chill summer night. Over it, Maeesha B drops her sultriest vocals, which pair perfectly with her honest lyrics. Overall, I think Maeesha is in a bag that I love in “CALL ME.”

1. PROVE IT

Maeesha B proves her worth in the intro.

You automatically know what time Maeesha B is on once you press play on “PROVE IT.” Over an easygoing island beat infused with irresistible afro-jazz elements, Maeesha’s silky smooth vocals and infectious melodies convey her readiness to be swept off her feet on the dancefloor. The song is infectious, catchy, and, most importantly, good.

(B)

Maeesha B has superstar written all over her. She has a great voice, is versatile, and certainly has “it.” In this teaser project, Maeesha shows off all her potential.

Do you know my favorite thing about this project? With summer in full force, it boasts tons of vibes perfect for an 80-degree day. You get sunny island tunes, an uptempo Jersey club beat, and exciting R&B bangers, along with silky smooth R&B jams that hit just right on a summer night. Maeesha approaches each track with an authentic mindset, keeping it real about her desires and influences while delivering truly infectious vocal performances in both English and a little bit of French. All in all, this short but sweet project is the perfect introduction to Maeesha B.
