A compelling alternative tune that feels truly unique.
Yellow Trash Can, an alternative band and production duo consisting of Jitta On The Track and Jason Navarrete, made their debut in the summer of 2020. Despite living separately in LA and Portland, they have collectively released over 80 tracks they’ve produced or written. Their collaboration album Everything is Trash gained recognition with features on Complex. Additionally, they produced the lead single “Pedi” for artist Baby Tate, which was featured on FIFA23. Some of their earlier releases include tracks like “Roboguns & Lazers,” “U SO CUTE,” “Modest Dilla,” and “Loud and Clear.” Their latest offering is the alternative single “POV.”
With its immersive blend of moody beats and infectious alt-rock elements, “POV” from Yellow Trash Can offers an eclectic backdrop infused with atmospheric intrigue. Lyrics such as “I feel so used, thrown away, just like trash tossed in a can” and “I heard what you said, I just don’t understand, fell back down without a plan, can’t behave, can barely stand, trying to write with broken hands” weave a poignant narrative exploring internal struggles and one-sided connections. Driven by soft, whispery vocals and richly wistful vibes, Yellow Trash Can delivers a compelling alternative tune that feels uniquely evocative. Press play and immerse yourself in the distinctive experience of “POV.”
