GloRilla has had a very good year thus far.
Amid Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s beef, many artists dropped impressive projects. One of those artists was GloRilla. In April, she released EhhThang EhhThang, a project featuring hits like “Wanna Be” and “Yeah Glo!”
Today, GloRilla decided to keep her momentum going by releasing a new single called “TGIF.” It’s a track that would fit perfectly on her latest album.
New day, same GloRilla. In “TGIF,” the Memphis rapper uses her deep-voiced, ferocious style to rap about turning up with her lady soldiers, kicking the asses of her haters, being a playa, and carrying more heat than an oven. What sets this track apart is the production—it’s on some Godzilla, monumental s**t. At the same time, it almost sounds incomplete to me. Whatever the case may be, my favorite thing about this track is definitely the beat.
GloRilla can kick my ass.
