Telling a girl to do the “reset” in the club is something I need to try.
Iz Divyn is an artist from Brooklyn, New York, but is based in Atlanta, Georgia. With music in his blood (he is the son of Dr. Malachi, someone who mentored Jay-Z, Nas, Prodigy, and more), Iz has been crafting tracks that feature great melodies and strong writing.
Some of Iz’s biggest singles are “NA NA” and “Money Or Me.” His latest single is “Reset.”
In “Reset,” Iz Divyn tells this girl he’s feeling she needs to ditch her current man. Like a straight playa, Iz tells her the steps she will need to take to do that, and they are all simple as hell. As someone who is a major fan of The-Dream’s past work, this track gives me the vibes of that. Not only does it boast uptempo production that has this dreamy vibe, but Iz also sings with a high-pitched, infectious vocal style that reminds me of the Atlanta singer-songwriter’s voice. He does implement his own swagger to the track, though.
Go ahead and listen to “Reset” below.
