Kid Cudi Returns With “DREAMS I SEE”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.
Kid Cudi DREAMS I SEE

Kid Cudi has been on the moon longer than them dudes from Black Mirror.

In my very humble opinion, Kid Cudi is one of the most important hip-hop artists of this century. Not only because he kind of looks like me (or I look like him), but also because his emo, highly melodic hip-hop style has influenced several artists, including Travis Scott, Drake, Kanye West, and more.

Though Kid Cudi has been in the game for almost 20 years (I can’t believe it), he hasn’t slowed down when it comes to releasing music. This year, he dropped INSANO (NITRO MEGA) and INSANO. Both of these projects were substantial, containing 18 and 21 tracks, respectively. Today, the Cleveland rager returned to the music scene with a new single called “DREAMS I SEE.”

“DREAMS I SEE” is an inspirational track (Yes, it seems like Kid Cudi is off that negative s**t these days). In it, Kid Cudi talks about overcoming evil, being more spiritual than he’s ever been before, and taking risks. If you are a fan of his early work, you’ll enjoy the track’s action-packed, slightly bluesy alternative hip-hop beat and how Cudi uses a passionate, spellbinding vocal performance and a punchy rap style over it.

Believe it or not, Kid Cudi continues to evolve as an artist, and “DREAMS I SEE” is a testament to his enduring relevance in the music industry. His ability to inspire and connect with listeners through his music remains as strong as ever.

Tell us what you think about “DREAMS I SEE” below. Do you feel like this track would fit nicely on one of Kid Cudi’s earlier albums, or do you feel like you want to see him dive into another style of music. Let us know in the comments section below!
