SupremeDae Says “2 Cups” Is Not Enough

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

I need about four shots of Casamigos to get s**t really poppin’.

I strongly identify with SupremeDae’s journey. Raised by African parents, much like me, he had the opportunity to blend the music of his upbringing with the sounds he discovered as he matured, including influences from artists like Lil Wayne and Drake. Although hip-hop captured his heart early on, he embraces a wide range of genres today, showcasing his musical versatility.

Some of SupremeDae’s biggest singles are “Norfolk Vibe” and “TIRED.” His latest single is another hit: “2 Cups.”

In “2 Cups,” SupremeDae delves into a tumultuous relationship that left his heart cold, reflecting on deep fights, loyalty issues, and giving his all during a difficult time. His heartfelt lyrics are complemented by intoxicating melodies, sobering vocals, and a dramatic Jersey club beat with a nice tempo that quickens your pulse like a few shots would. The track also features a dramatic violin part towards the end that took my heart and slam-dunked that s**t to the ground.

Check out the very well-done “2 Cups” below.
