I don’t see this track making it to Spotify or Apple Music.

Guess what! Drake just released 100GB of content via a drive earlier today. The drive features behind-the-scenes footage and tracks, including a collaboration with Jin the MC. Remember him!?

Before anyone gets upset, just to clarify, Drake did not drop a track with Jin The MC—I’m just messing around. I did listen to “Learn Chinese” earlier today and genuinely think Jin was underrated. Anyway, out of the three new tracks—”It’s Up” with Young Thug and 21 Savage, “Housekeeper Knows” with Latto, and “Blue Green Red”—I find “Blue Green Red” to be the most experimental. Here’s why.

In “Blue Green Red,” Drake offers a mix of different personas. You get a Drake who might hail from a place hard to pinpoint on a map, somewhere between Saint Lucia and Jamaica. There’s also a vulnerable side that showcases his softer vocals and a gritty version that could challenge Kendrick Lamar to a fight. Lyrically, the track dives into a range of topics—snakes, attracting women, and a potential stabbing incident. While the song’s rhythm is appealing, the blend of rap and singing styles feels disjointed.

My unreliable source suggests this might be a potential Kendrick Lamar diss: “Yeah, how many summers did I run? Like ten, I got a show out in London, when? With a clock in London, yeah, Big Ben Apple Watch fits just like them, But me, nah, watch face like them. They make lyrics for who? Men, We make gyal come, then come again.” Hmmm.

I don’t think this track will make it past this drive…
