Drake and 21 Savage talk spicy in this track.

As we covered a few hours ago, Drake dropped 100GB of content today via a drive, including a mix of behind-the-scenes footage and tracks. I’m not sure why he decided to do this, but as a fan, I’m grateful.

Although I’m not about to sift through everything in the drive, I did check out the new tracks Drake dropped. One is “It’s Up,” featuring Young Thug and 21 Savage.

You might be wondering how old this track is. I’m unsure, but since Drake mentions Young Thug’s incarceration, it’s likely less than two years old. Anywho, in “It’s Up,” Drake delivers two impressive verses. Over a haunting trap beat, he raps about securing VIP sections next to his rivals in clubs, his belief that his “brother” Young Thug deserves freedom, and building connections with Mexicans. He also touches on making blood money and using it to buy extravagant cars.

Although Young Thug’s chorus is choppy, it sets the track’s tone well. Meanwhile, 21 Savage delivers a hard-hitting verse, where some interpret his lines as shots at Kendrick (“Made a couple songs think he hot now / Hit his ass up think he pac now”). Throughout his verse, 21 consistently conveys his readiness to put his opps in the dirt.

Drake needs to release this track officially. It’s hot as hell.
