Austin Martin Merges Country & Hip-Hop In “Wrangler”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Wrangler jeans are very comfortable.

I’ll be the first to say that I love how artists are blending country and hip-hop these days. Surprisingly, there are more similarities between the two genres than you might think, with edginess being the biggest common thread. One artist who merges them effortlessly is Austin Martin. Hailing from Montana, Austin draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists, including Michael Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Chris Brown, and Eminem. This eclectic mix has led him to experiment with everything from country to hip-hop to R&B..

Some of Austin Martin’s biggest singles are “Sweat and Blood,” “Whiskey Baby,” and “Smells Like Bad News.” His latest single is “Wrangler.”

In “Wrangler,” Austin Martin pays tribute to the country lifestyle with flair. He sings about strutting in Wranglers, embracing the cowboy way of life, and owning his bad-boy persona. The track features a hard-hitting country-hop beat that would feel right at home in a Montana whiskey bar or a DC nightclub. Austin’s delivery is animated and charisma-packed, making the track consistently engaging and appealing.

Songs like these make me appreciate that I grew up on 2000s hip-hop.
