Quavo and Lenny Kravitz Revive a Classic with New Track “FLY”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

I don’t understand why this track exists.

If you grew up in the ’90s, you’re likely aware of Lenny Kravitz’s influential and legendary status in music. However, here’s a twist: despite his impact, his entire catalog might not be as well-known to everyone. In fact, I find it hard to name a single album of his off the top of my head. Nevertheless, if you’re a music fan, you definitely know his hit “Fly Away.”

Given the impact of “Fly Away,” it’s surprising that there haven’t been many remakes of the track. One of the first I’ve encountered comes from an unexpected artist: Quavo.

Quavo shows he’s more than just a trap rapper in “FLY,” a track that amplifies some of the core elements of Lenny Kravitz’s classic “Fly Away.” With an electrifying and bouncy rap style, Quavo talks about his eagerness to get involved with a stunning woman ready for wild fun. As for Lenny Kravitz, he complements him with a refreshed take on his iconic hook. Overall, this remake is quite intriguing and not half bad at all.

I bet before meeting Lenny Kravitz, Quavo had never met anyone named Lenny.
