Brooklyn-based musician Thutmose draws on his Nigerian roots to create infectious afrobeat-fused house beats, delivering funky rhythms that keep fans grooving. Raised in New York, Thutmose immersed himself in diverse sounds, including Hip-Hop, R&B, and Caribbean music. His drive to conquer his fears has propelled him to new heights in his music career. In 2016, Thutmose released his debut single, “Mississippi Masala,” followed by tracks like “Memories,” “Summer’s Gone,” “Run Wild,” and “Run It.” He also dropped his debut album, Man On Fire, in 2018. His latest single, “Lagos 2 Vegas,” explores a fling that evolves into a full-blown romance.

“Lagos 2 Vegas” transitions from a smooth R&B melody to an explosive blend of high-energy Afrobeats and Hip-Hop. The vibrant production delves into various genres, creating a rich sound that’s irresistible and worth replaying. In the track, Thutmose opens up about his feelings for the woman of his dreams, confidently expressing that he won’t shy away from his true emotions. Despite his calm tone, he’s just as infatuated as anyone else, showing his vulnerability and passion for his crush.
