An experimental hip-hop creation that’s ready to take you on a delightfully dark journey.
Music project Bogart. is an artistic duo consisting of two Swiss producers who have recently made waves in the Lofi hip-hop and beatmaker scenes. The pair quickly gained recognition for their unique creations, with their single “Desire” earning over 300,000 streams on Spotify and showcasing their ability to captivate audiences with a distinctive sound that challenges conventional lofi hip hop norms. More recently, Bogart. has collaborated with UK-based rapper, singer, and musician iII Sykes. Together, they created the hip-hop/rap single “Dark Star Demoralizer” and its accompanying official music video.
With a captivating blend of haunting choir samples, bold beats, and deep bass, “Dark Star Demoralizer” offers a striking combination of sounds that creates an irresistible and truly avant-garde backdrop. Lyrics such as “I hold no hatred, my lonely cage is gold plated, on the phone pasted, I’m so wasted, why the long faces?” and “I’m not basic, you’re based in strange places you can’t hold me down, I’m known to clown those that hold the frown” present a sharply delivered, thought-provoking reflection. Fueled by its mesmerizing fusion of classic and contemporary styles and compelling, well-crafted lyricism, Bogart. and iII Sykes present an experimental hip-hop creation that’s ready to take you on a dark and delightful journey. Press play and experience “Dark Star Demoralizer.”
