LL Cool J & Eminem Have A Rap Off In “Murdergram Deux”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The 50-year-old rappers have taken center stage!

You know what I love? The fact that there’s no expiration date for artists when it comes to making new music. In other words, you can be a senior citizen still spitting bars, and it’s completely cool. With that in mind, I think it’s incredibly dope that two legendary rappers, Eminem and LL Cool J, who are both 50, are still going strong.

Earlier this year, we were treated to an intriguing Eminem album titled The Death of Slim Shady. In about a week, LL Cool J is set to release a highly anticipated new album, THE FORCE. Today, a fresh single from LL’s upcoming project dropped on streaming platforms: “Murdergram Deux,” featuring Eminem.

LL Cool J and Eminem absolutely snap on this track. Over a beat that probably has ADHD, the two MCs come off like cool, insanely skilled rap maniacs. Eminem delivers his verses with a chilling calmness (and we all know the calmest ones are often the wildest), all while using a mind-blowing, intricate flow that will leave your ears spinning. On the other hand, LL Cool J matches Em’s flow but cranks up the aggression to the max, coming across like someone ready to take on any rapper in the game. Together, they hop between topics like being untouchable, seducing women, and stacking cash. Honestly, this collaboration feels random, but it works.

Can you believe some teenagers don’t know who these two dudes are?
