5. LIFETIMES

When you love deeply, time becomes irrelevant.

In “LIFETIMES,” Katy beautifully conveys a love so profound that it transcends time, lasting through lifetimes. She masterfully presents the timeless “love you forever” message in a refreshing way, adding depth and emotion to the concept of eternal love. The track’s upbeat rhythm invites listeners to dance along, while the bass and slower, more sensual vocals bring an intimate vibe to the verses. The combination of a nostalgic throwback sound with a futuristic twist gives the song a unique and captivating feel.

4. TRUTH

Ignorance isn’t Bliss— Trust me, you’d want to know the “Truth.”

“TRUTH” delves into the emotional turmoil of wanting to uncover painful realities for the sake of closure. Katy masterfully captures the torturous feeling of suspecting a partner is hiding something, with cheating subtly implied throughout the song. What makes it particularly impactful is the relatable narrative—many listeners will resonate with the gut-wrenching uncertainty, from sensing red flags to trusting their intuition. Personally, I love songs like this because they offer a sense of solidarity in heartbreak, reminding us that we’re not alone in our pain. Despite its heavy subject matter, “TRUTH” pairs a compelling beat with a vibe that contrasts the darkness of the relationship it explores. It’s a track that gives voice to the unsettling moments we all dread but ultimately crave resolution for.

3. GIMME GIMME (feat. 21 Savage)

This unlikely collaboration gives us a special treat.

“GIMME GIMME” stands out as one of the more sensual songs on the album, blending the desire for both physical and mental connection. Katy makes it clear that she wants more than just fleeting attraction—she’s seeking depth, even in a casual rendezvous. 21 Savage’s signature style adds a dynamic edge, kicking off the intro and delivering a passionate response to Katy’s desires in the second verse. The captivating bassline is hard to ignore, pulling listeners in and creating an irresistible groove that pairs perfectly with the song’s sultry energy. It’s a track that’s sure to get your body moving and heighten the mood.

2. WOMAN’S WORLD

Be grateful for the ladies in your life— we’re lucky to be living in a “Woman’s World.”

“WOMAN’S WORLD” is an empowering anthem that captures the essence of what it means to be a woman—physically, mentally, and emotionally. The song honors the incredible strength women possess, celebrating everyday women as the superhumans they truly are. With a dynamic message and an irresistible disco-inspired beat, it’s the kind of track that makes you want to get up and dance. The combination of its infectious rhythm and powerful theme makes it a perfect fit for mainstream radio, and I can easily imagine it being performed at major award shows. It’s a true celebration of womanhood and all its power.

1. ARTIFICIAL (feat. JID)

Katy wants to know: Is this real or “ARTIFICIAL?”

“ARTIFICIAL” stands out with its captivating beat, smooth rhythm, and seamless transitions from verse to chorus. It has a darker, more seductive sound that really showcases Katy’s vocal strength. The track shares a similar vibe with her 2009 hit “E.T.,” as both songs explore love beyond the ordinary, but in different ways. JID’s rap verse injects a fresh dynamic into the song, adding a burst of energy with his signature hip-hop flow, which contrasts perfectly with the sultry vibe of the rest of the track. It’s a powerful fusion of pop and rap that really elevates the song.
