Jaden Returns With “D.U.M.B.”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Can Jaden reclaim his spot as one of the artists with the brightest future?

I used to be so high on Jaden that I was failing drug tests. What I’ve always appreciated about him is his ability to sing solidly, drop big-time bars when necessary, and his willingness to experiment with futuristic sounds. However, since the slapping incident with his dad, I hadn’t heard much from him—until today. Jaden made his return to the music scene after a long hiatus with a new single called ‘D.U.M.B.'”

“D.U.M.B.” is a breakup song where Jaden asks his ex several lowkey disrespectful questions. One standout moment is when he sarcastically asks if she enjoys messing up relationships, a rhetorical question designed to make her look stupid. Jaden also takes aim at people who fail to recognize corporate monopolies, which you should take very seriously.

Though the track feels like some s**t Jaden threw together, I do like its frantic tempo, slightly pleasant vibes, and his aggression throughout. What I absolutely love is the chorus, which features altered vocals by some random singer.

Don’t we rock with dumb girls nowadays?
