Cochise & Amine Go Crazy In “NASTY”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

This might be my favorite release of the week.

Cochise’s star is definitely on the rise. Not only is he consistently releasing new singles, but he also took to Twitter to announce that a new album is coming. As a rising artist in the trap and hyperactive rap scenes, his energetic flow and unique style are gaining traction. For those new to his music, like myself, this upcoming album should provide a great opportunity to dive deeper into his sound. This past Friday, Cochise dropped the single “NASTY,” which features Aminé, one of my favorite artists.

As the great Greg Popovich once said, “I want some nasty!” In “NASTY,” Cochise and Aminé are completely on the same page. Throughout the song, they sound ready for all kinds of smoke, including confrontations and unfiltered sexual escapades. They also talk their talk, asserting themselves as the life of any party. What makes the track stand out is how both rappers adopt a style reminiscent of Playboi Carti, which fits perfectly over the frantic and high-energy production. Overall, I would love to hear this track ten shots in.

OK, Cochise, I’m familiar with your game now. I rock with this track!

It may not be common to describe a Christmas-set, unrated, obscenely grotesque gore-fest as a feel-good movie, but Damien Leone’s Terrifier 3 is precisely that.
Thankfully, Olivia Rodrigo was a good sport about it.
