If you’re familiar with the Christian rapper, you already know he’s deserving of such high praise. If you’re not, you’ve been missing out. Today, Lecrae makes a strong return to the music scene with his brand new single, “Lift Me Up,” featuring BEAM.
I stopped going to church, so songs like “Lift Me Up” have become my new form of salvation. In this track, Lecrae reflects on the mental and physical toll that comes with simply navigating life. He emphasizes those moments when you need support the most, weaving these themes throughout his verses. With intoxicating melodies reminiscent of artists like Don Toliver and a moody, club-ready beat, I believe many listeners will connect with and enjoy this track.
