That Mexican OT Calls On Maxo Kream & Lil Keke For “War Wounds”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

How the hell does That Mexican OT do that thing with his voice?

That Mexican OT is on the path to becoming a superstar rapper. One aspect I truly admire is his dedication to honoring his Texas roots, which I think has had a slightly negative impact on his rise to mainstream recognition. However, there’s something special about achieving success while staying true to oneself. Today, OT made a comeback with a new single titled “War Wounds,” featuring fellow Texas artists Maxo Kream and Lil Keke.

As expected, a lot of s**t-talking occurs in “War Wounds.” That Mexican OT kicks off the track with a Rambo-like intensity, delivering punchy bars that highlight his readiness to rough up his opps. His flow is impeccable, complete with his signature spasmodic moments (Spasmodic is a wild word).

Lil Keke follows with a slick verse, emphasizing the street codes he abides by and his boss-like presence, while Maxo Kream boasts about his arsenal and drug-dealing prowess. Overall, each artist delivers strong verses over the trill-ass production that powers everything.

Texas got their own s**t going on, and I love that.
