GloRilla Chooses Celibacy

GloRilla is shutting off her milkshake.

GloRilla has had an incredibly successful year, releasing two major projects, Ehhthang Ehhthang and GLORIOUS. Her rise has also garnered support from high-profile figures like Rihanna, and she even collaborated with Kamala Harris during the presidential campaign. In addition, GloRilla has made notable television appearances, including on Jennifer Hudson’s show.

As her star has begun to shine, she’s also drawing attention from dudes who find her sexy. Unfortunately, recently, GloRilla had to break some major news to them.

GloRilla recently shared on Twitter that she is “single and celibate,” choosing to wait until God sends her a husband before becoming intimate again. Given her past music, which often emphasizes her confidence and sexual empowerment, this may come as a surprise to many. However, this decision could be a part of her personal growth strategy, offering a new side to her narrative.

Here’s my take. GloRilla hasn’t been publicly associated with anyone in the industry, so her decision to practice celibacy shouldn’t shift how people view her. If she genuinely commits to it, it could set a positive example for young women. However, it remains uncertain whether she’ll maintain this stance long-term.

Damn, the world is turning upside down since Trump won.
