Billie Eilish is Apple Music’s 2024 Artist of the Year

Wrapping up the year with an apple on top!

Terrible attempt at a joke aside, Billie Eilish has been named Apple Music’s 2024 Artist of the Year. This caps off a fabulous year for her, which included four Grammy wins and a stunning performance at the Olympics closing ceremony.

“From the moment we first heard “Ocean Eyes” nearly a decade ago, we’ve been fans and champions of Billie’s work. It’s always special when a young artist can connect with so many people so quickly,” said Rachel Newman, Apple Music’s senior director, in a statement about the announcement.

Eilish herself shared her thoughts, stating, “Since day one, Apple Music has supported my music and artistry, and I am both honored and humbled to receive this recognition as Artist of the Year so many years into my career.”
