Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre & Sting Link Up For “Another Part Of Me”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Snoop Dogg is on the verge of dropping the greatest album of all time, isn’t he?

I am not someone who puts Snoop Dogg’s catalog on a pedestal. What I believe is he has one or two classics, and the rest are meh. That said, I do truly believe his forthcoming album, Missionary, might end up being a classic in his catalog. So far, we’ve received some very good singles from it: “Gorgeous” and “Outta The Blue.” Today, we received a new single “Another Part Of Me,” featuring Sting and Dr. Dre.

In “Another Part Of Me,” Snoop Dogg and Sting make it clear that they have unshakable confidence and are ready to fend off any obstacles, like a defensive lineman trying to take down Derrick Henry. As seasoned legends who have faced their share of criticism over the years, their carefree and defiant lyrics are refreshing and showcase their resilience.

What really stands out about this track is not just the lyrics, but the overall style that elevates it. The song is driven by a multi-layered, rock-inspired beat that has a timeless vibe I can’t get enough of. Snoop Dogg adds a unique twist by singing a bit and delivering some sharp, punchy bars. Sting brings a powerful energy to the track with a passionate verse and fiery vocals. Meanwhile, Dr. Dre steps in as the hype man, adding his signature ad-libs to keep the energy high from start to finish. All in all, I rock with this track heavy.

Listen to “Another Part Of Me.”
