Megan Thee Stallion & TWICE Connect For “Strategy”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Keep getting that international money, Megan!

The word “evolution” holds significant weight in the music industry, as many artists transform remarkably from the personas they introduced when they first entered the scene. Megan Thee Stallion is a perfect example of this evolution. She initially gained prominence with her bold Southern rap style, deeply rooted in her Texas heritage.

Over time, Megan has grown into a versatile artist who effortlessly collaborates with international talents. On her last project, she ventured into new territory by creating tracks with Korean and Japanese artists. Most recently, she joined forces with the globally acclaimed Korean group TWICE on their new song, “Strategy.”

“Strategy” is easily one of the poppiest songs to hit the scene in a while, blending vibrant, high-pitched vocals with irresistibly catchy melodies. The lyrics lean into classic themes of charm and seduction, emphasizing hypnotic allure and playful confidence. What truly elevates the track, however, is Megan Thee Stallion’s contribution. She brings an edgier dynamic with her bold delivery and swagger-filled lines, maintaining a balance between assertive lyricism and a playful, almost PG-13 boundary. Overall, I think it’s a pretty solid collab.
