IDK Shines In “Flow”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

IDK went off in this track.

IDK (aka Kanye West Jr.) is easily one of the most underrated rappers in the world. I feel like he actually talks about s**t in his music, experiments fearlessly, and, when he has to, is more than capable of knocking someone’s head off rapping-wise. Recently, IDK delivered a pretty solid project called BRAVADO + INTiMO. Today, he returned to the music scene with an amazing new single called “FLOW.”

In “FLOW,” IDK talks about having ants in his pants, making it big without handouts, being ready to go to war with his opps, and having flows as unstoppable as DeAaron Fox in the clutch. Unfortunately, he makes no mention of NBA ratings declining.

Though IDK’s words are uplifting and honorable, I think it’s two things that make this song great: The sly, chill production and IDK’s fast-paced, steady flow. I was very impressed by what I heard.

The streets need a Kanye West-produced IDK album.
