Canna Man and Stoopid Fresh, a Copenhagen-based duo, bring a refreshing and undeniable love for hip-hop to every track they create. What does that mean exactly? Canna Man excels at delivering weighty bars that hit hard, while Stoopid Fresh serves as the mastermind behind the scenes, providing the perfect backdrops for rappers to thrive.
In April, the duo released a two-pack that featured collaborations with two of Griselda’s finest. Below, I’ll dive into the standout track featuring Conway The Machine—an absolute gem titled “Bandoliers.”
“Bandoliers” is driven by a soulful yet gritty hip-hop beat crafted by Stoopid Fresh, featuring an insanely addictive sample. Over this backdrop, Conway The Machine lays down a slick verse where he reflects on caring less about fame and clout, the money he’s raking in from shows, the high-end fashion he sports, and his readiness to throw down if necessary. What stands out is how effortlessly he delivers sharp punchlines while flowing seamlessly over the beat.
Canna Man, on the other hand, comes through with a rugged verse, boasting about being a legend in his city and handling more beef than a Burger King employee. The contrast between the two MCs’ styles adds a unique dynamic to the track. All in all, this is as raw and authentic as a hip-hop record can get in 2024.

Conway has dropped this exact verse on roughly 15 tracks for 15 different artists over the past year and a half. I liked it the first 3 times but come on. This is getting ridiculous. Then again, if I was good enough to sell the same verse 15 times, you better believe I would!
