How much do we need to donate to make this happen?
It’s interesting to see how Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s connection has only deepened since he left TDE. Their past collaborations like “All The Stars” were just the beginning, and this year, they’ve solidified their bond even more with tracks like “luther” and “30 for 30.” Now, as they prepare for a stadium tour together, it’s clear that they’re on the same wavelength creatively.
The idea of a full collaboration album between the two has been on fans’ minds for a while, and it looks like SZA might be hinting at it. On Instagram, she shared a video of a fan expressing their wish for a joint project, and SZA’s caption read, “Gotta ask the big guy,” suggesting that the decision ultimately lies with Kendrick. If they decide to team up for an album, it could be the perfect storm of talent and chemistry we’ve all been waiting for.

Right now, it’s hard to deny that Kendrick Lamar is at the top of his game as the hottest hip-hop artist, while SZA is absolutely dominating the R&B scene. A collab album between these two would be the ultimate “best of both worlds” situation, and I’m all for it. What excites me the most is the undeniable chemistry they’ve shown in their past work together. They know how to complement each other’s styles—whether it’s Kendrick’s introspective, poetic rap or SZA’s sultry, emotive vocals. Additionally, they often take creative risks, stepping outside the box, and it pays off every time (ie rapping over a flipped version of the “Throw Some D’s” beat in “30 for 30”). Now, all we can do is wait and see if our prayers for this collab get answered. Fingers crossed!
Do you think it’s time for a Kendrick Lamar and SZA collaboration album?
